What is time management?

Time management is the process in which you organize your tasks and schedule – often to achieve a goal of maximum productivity and efficiency. Saving time is crucial to running a smooth office, positive experience for clients and customers, as well as a happy workday.

Time Saving Tip of the Month – The 80/20 Principle.

Do you want to work smarter, not harder? It can be so easy to get wrapped up in tiny tasks and, before you know it, the work day is over. Enter the 80/20 principle. The 80/20 principle also referred to as the Pareto Principle, is the simple notion that 80% of the results you see comes from 20% of your efforts. This translates to: Focus on the big, important tasks – but spending too much time on them actually will decrease your productive output. More time spent on something does not necessarily equal better work. Step back and analyze what you typically do in a day, then identify what 20% drives the most results. Focus on those tasks and work to automate or reduce time spent on all others. And thats it! You are given time back to your day AND more good work done. It’s a 100% win.
